~Beautiful Hot Weekend in San Diego~

The weather in San Diego got up to the 90's this last weekend.
We ended up staying outside, watering the garden
and swan in the pool to try and cool off.
Sitting outside, I realized how many
 Spring flowers are blooming.
We have Freesia in different colors coming up everywhere.
They smell so sweet.
Amaryllis, daffodils, alstroemeria just to name a few
of the flowers.
I love this time of year.
We grilled portebella mushrooms
with asparagus, tomato and polenta.
We ate outside and enjoyed talking to our kids.
With all of our busy schedules,
it was a nice to enjoy their company.

Hope you all had a good weekend too!
Happy Monday!!

  2. You have such a beautiful property and you decorate everything so well. Yes, we had a very hot weekend also up here in Orange County. Having COPD, I didn't go out much past noon, just stayed in and wished that I was outside.

Your dinner looks divine and I am going to have to try that.
Enjoying your lovely gardens and have a terrific week.
